Strategic Goals
*To drive change at all levels, from local to global, for thrombosis patients including antiphospholipid antibody (aPL) positive patients
*To advance thrombosis and Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS) treatment through high-quality scientific research
*To establish a global knowledge exchange on thrombosis, pregnancy morbidity, and other microthrombotic diseases
*To discuss new mechanisms of thrombosis and aPL-related clinical problems
*To develop and encourage guidelines in the classification, diagnosis, and management of aPL-positive patients
*To discuss ongoing and planned clinical trials, and potential new treatments for APS
*To strengthen the network among thrombosis and aPL/APS researchers by bringing representatives from the scientific and clinical community who have relevant skills, but not necessarily prior expressed interest in APS
*To publish a thrombosis and aPL/APS textbook that will lead to an exciting agenda for thrombosis research in the years to come
*To provide an opportunity to patients for consultation with highly respected professionals who have expertise in a particular area of APS
